Hey, I'm Russell. 

I began playing around with welding and metal fabrication several years ago to make some furniture for my own home because everything I had seen in stores and catalogs that  was really unique was terribly expensive.   Encouragement from friends who saw what I was doing and recognized the unique look of my work led to "requests" from others who shared the same tastes that some refer to as the "industrial look."  Others have looked at it as fitting into "art deco" or "retro" but that doesn't matter.  Let's just call it "cool" because if you're looking at this site, your tastes probably don't run with the crowd------good for you!

Since beginning, I've discovered several different ways of looking at projects and finishes and am having a great time stretching some of the design ideas.  Everything I do is custom made to your requests.  You'll find the pricing very affordable when you consider you're getting a customized and signed piece designed to function and look like you want.  The possibilities are only limited by our imaginations.

The "hobby" aspect of my work has to mesh with my "real job" as a business consultant so I'm not set up as a production artist by any aspect.  My work for a non-profit economic development group called alt.Consulting gets my first priorities.
