I started fabricating aluminum furniture in 2003 when my wife and I needed some unique stands to display some lamps that were given to us as a gift.  Once completed I moved onto making a coffee table and some accent tables.

Friends saw the work and encouraged me to pursue it on a larger scale.  I'm good at making long stories longer but suffice it to say that it's evolved into one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.

While most of my time is devoted to working for a non-profit economic development company that focuses on helping small businesses much of my spare time finds me in the shop with a torch, welder or grinder in my hands. 

I'm constantly amazed with how you can change the character of a piece of metal and the way light plays on it when the surface is treated in any number of ways.  Many of my finishes produce a holographic effect and it actually appears you are looking several inches into the surface.

I've been fortunate enough to have been picked up by a couple of local galleries here in Little Rock but find most of my commissioned work going to the East and West coast.
